Narendra Modi’s First Foreign Visit to Friendly Country – Bhutan

Narendra Modi‘s first foreign visit happens to be not to USA, China, Japan or Pakistan, the most privilege nation comes out is Bhutan, a small republic in Himalayas. The selection of Bhutan for the Narendra Modi‘s first foreign visit is a natural choice keeping strategic and bilateral considerations. But at the same time , many political pundits are still to overcome for this choice, at a time when invitation for Narendra Modi’s foreign visit is pouring from all over world. As Shri. Narendra Modi always quote – we cannot change our neighbors, and following his policy, he invited all the leaders of SAARC countries to his oath taking ceremony on 26th of May. The prime minister of  Himalayan republic , Bhutan was also present at that occasion and that time only he extended invitation to Narendra Modi. This visit has more of strategic relevance as China is very much aggressive in increasing its foot hold in Bhutan. In coming months, China and Bhutan is expected to go for strategic talks on border issues and if any compromise settled between them in respect of Bhutan’s East or West border, that will be detrimental to India’s interest. Under these conditions, the utility of Narendra Modi‘s first foreign visit to Bhutan increases substantially and Narendra Modi is expected to press his counterpart to desist taking such decisions which are unfavorable to India. In this visit, Narendra Modi is being accompanied with foreign and Extarnal Affairs Minister, Smt. Shushma Swaraj and National Security Advisor, Mr. Doval. Narendra Modi impresses American press with his fashion style

Narendra Modi  impresses American press with his unique style and acumen of fashion sense in similar lines as his big victory left his opponents speechless. As happened in India, after leading his party to emphatic victory in recently concluded general elections, Shri. Narendra Modi wins the hearts of arch rivals like Congress leader Shashi Taroor and Mulayam Singh Yadav, on similar lines Western press falls in line too and now praising the fashion style of Shri. Narendra Modi. Some recent articles published in “Washington Post” and “The New York Times”  acknowledges his out-of-the box fashion statement mainly the “Modi Kurta”. The Washington Post under the article titled – ‘Here’s what Narendra Modi’s fashion says about his politics’ writes “The world has a new fashion icon. And no, it’s not Vladimir Putin, despite his fitness regimen — it’s India’s new prime minister, Narendra Modi.’ The paper further writes – ‘The politician has dominated headlines since his campaign and victory in India’s election, and his wardrobe has been no exception. Countless articles have been written about his look, from his vast collection of hats to his iconic long tunic, the #ModiKurta. Yes, it has its own hashtag.’ Shri. Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India is wearing a traditional kurta made of either cotton or silk, usually paired with a vest. The color selection and style has even impress designers in India too. “For years, India’s new leader has had his clothes stitched at Jade Blue, a company based in Modi’s native state of Gujurat. Although Modi is a big fan of brand names (we’ll get to that), his outfits tend to reflect a connection to his roots. The clothes are always crisp and ironed. Modi is very particular about his look and has “shunned the shabby and crumpled kurtas and dhotis/pyjamas — the staple political costume of the traditional Indian politician” the Washington post explain further. The paper also touches some influence of western brand on Modi choice and explains “Although Modi has a carefully cultivated Hindu nationalist image, it doesn’t mean he isn’t a fan of European designers. His glasses are said to be Bvlgari, and his watch is Movado, two brands at odds with his traditional Indian look but in keeping with his pro-business ideology.” On similar lines, The New York Times under the article “Narendra Modi: A Leader Who Is What He Wears” explain that why the fashion sense of India’s prime minister is a perfect example of a fashion case study. As per the article “Even by the standards of a world that has seen blogs devoted to Michelle Obama’s dress sense, the pre-election makeovers of François Hollande and Dilma Rousseff, and the canonization of Nelson Mandela’s shirts, the image-craft of India’s new prime minister, Narendra Modi — and its fashion fallout — has been something of a case study.” It further says ” After all, not only has he worn a unique garment so often that it is now officially named after him (the Modi Kurta, a revisionist version of the classic Indian tunic shirt with half-length sleeves), but the tailor who works with him to create said garment, Bipin Chauhan of the clothing chain Jade Blue, has trademarked the style and is taking it to Britain, the United States and Southeast Asia. It has its own Twitter...

High Turnout in 3rd Phase Indicating Nation Favours Narendra Modi

During the 3rd phase of general election 2014, sharply high turnout in comparison to 2009 general election, reflects a strong perception towards change in current national leadership and is a endorsement for strong and vibrant leader Shri. Narendra Modi, who is also PM candidate from opposition NDA. Almost double digit growth in turnout comparison to 2009 polls, is also considered a result of presidential-style campaign, where only Shri. Narendra Modi is seen. This is also an endorsement of the fact that even before polls, people of India has given the verdict and accepted Shri. Narendra Modi as its PM. During this 3rd phase which concluded on 10th April, highest voters turnout seen at Chandigarh, which is almost 74%. This is followed by Kerala 73%, Odisha 67%, Haryana 65%, UP 65%, Delhi 64%, Jharkhand 58% and Bihar 54%( as per the data released by Election Commission of India). The net increase in voters turnout was maximum of 14% in UP, 13% in Delhi and on lower side almost 8% in Bihar and 6% in Jharkhand. This heavy increased turnout signifies some sure things – there is a anti-Congress wave in the country, people are fed up with hollow promises made by either Congress or AAP, people wants certain and definite solutions to their problems, the age old barrier of caste and creed is no more effective and people of India wants to give decisive mandate for a strong and responsible government under the leadership of Shri. Narendra Modi, a man who dare to dream for the upliftment of millions of poor Indian and dedicated his entire life for this cause. Congress’s games of secularism are over now: Narendra Modi

Addressing a mammoth rally at Ghaziabad, UP Shri. Narendra Modi seek support for NDA candidate Gen. V K Singh and lambasted heavily on Smt. Sonia Gandhi on appealing her a special community for vote. Followings are the tweets from his hour long speech: _Congress is making every effort to communalize  the election. They are getting worried _For months I am travelling the country to change India‘s future, women security but they have no answers on these issues _I demand an answer on price rise but they ask what about secularism. When I ask on jobs, they give the same answer _I say give water to farmers but they say first talk secularism. I want to ask you, aren’t the issues I raise important _Congress is worried about giving answers thats why only saying one thing- secularism, secularism _Congress is worried because all they have is 40 years of the same thing. They never thought a tea seller would seek answers from them _Congress never thought that a son of a poor man will ask them on how they fooled the nation _Their games of secularism are over now. People have understood them _Congress is defeated. So now from ‘secularism’ they have moved to open communalism _What Congress President said, I urge the EC…to eek votes on basis of religion is against the laws of this nation _Suo motto action must be taken. You tell me is it proper to appeal like this on religious grounds _Don’t give empty slogans and then divide brothers. Sadly this has been the Congress tradition _We are not the people who are desperate for power. We are driven by patriotic virtues. Ramesh ji rejected Congress ticket _A friend in Congress keeps talking about secularism. Today let me define what real secularism is _For Congress secularism is an election slogan. For us its- every one is ours. For Congress secularism is votebank politics _Congress secularism is divide and rule. We say unite, integrate and work for the nation _For Congress secularism is religion first but for us it is India First. It is an article of faith for us _Sonia ji has made the mistake of trying to mislead and divide the nation. People will never forgive this kind of politics _Why is it that farmers are committing suicide? Why are they being forced to end their lives _We focussed on animal husbandry in Gujarat and the results have been vey positive. It is helping farmers _People enjoy non-vegetartian food but due to Pink Revolution & export policies, people in India get meat at higher rates _In the name of pink revolution our villages are getting ruined, farmers are getting ruined _Change is needed in the nation. We have to create a better India for our future generations _UP is going to have a big say in forming the next Government of India. We need maximum Lotuses from UP _Our neighbours keep troubling us. I told NRIs- he is not wrong _The country is experiencing what a burden the UPA is for the people of India. This has never happened _Did the demand for ‘One Rank, One Pension’ come only now? No, it was on for years. And you say, I did it in 3 days _Today everyone wants their children to get good education. Good governance is very important _We have been made to believe that there is no freedom from corruption & seeing your leader you would think _I want to ask Congress why was Bansal ji removed from Ministry? And then why did you make him a candidate? To mislead people _Who did Adarsh Scam was brought back. Rail Scam happened but he is back. What is the value of the Government that cannot give you anything: Narendra Modi at Gaya

Today Shri. Narendra Modi has concluded his day long program of rallying in Bihar and Jharkhand with a massive rally at Gaya, where Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan of LJP was also present. Shri. Narendra Modi Tweets at Gaya, Bihar: Those sitting behind closed doors, spreading lies…I request them to please come here and see this ground What I am seeing today is not like a usual election rally. There are people as far as I can see You tell me who will form a government in Delhi In the last decade was there any change in your lives? Did women safety improve What is the value of the Government that cannot give you anything Seeing this rally I can say that the days of Bharat Vijay are here This land of Buddha has blood. The same land that gave message of peace to the world had blood Sadly the Government here was not bothered about what happened in Gaya. Their sole worry is not to disturb their votebank politics Let there be bombs, let people die but my chair must remain. This attitude has ruined Bihar and India There should be no terrorism and terrorists must be punished but can those sitting in Delhi & Patna do this We need to affirm that we must end terrorism Lakhs of tourists come to Bihar, inspired by Lord Buddha. And tourism gives opportunities to the poorest of the poor After terror attack the arrival of tourists has dropped. Who gained? Their chair is saved but poor lost opportunities Terrorism divides but tourism unites This is a land of integration not division. Why was blood spilled here I want to ask something- Centre, Bihar Govt. and the person who came from jail should answer A dam was to be built for years but for various reasons cost has shot up. Whose money is this Dam would have helped Bihar and Jharkhand. But nothing happened. Who has done this to farmers. 800 cr spent but nothing happened They keep talking about Rights. Nation is tired of your acts, nation needs action They promise manufacturing sector growth by 10% but reality is different See their track record. It has taken the nation backwards They promised to create jobs and focus on skill development. What is their track record? Nothing has been done When they say they will introduce anti-corruption do you believe them Congress says they will bring back black money but do you believe them? Did you bring a Rupee back in 10 years They said they will start rural courts. In 2009 also they promises the same. Sadly, in 5 years very few were built Concept of fast track courts was started by Vajpayee ji. In 2011 they stopped giving money for them & now they talk fast track courts Related articles across the web EXCLUSIVE: Patna blasts mastermind Tehsin Akhtar arrested Indian Mujahideen head Yasin Bhatkal’s deputy Tehseen Akhtar arrested Maoists blow up mobile towers in Bihar | Narendra Modi Bihar rally | Metro Journalist Rahul Gandhi’s manifesto: big promises, more funds on social sector Manifesto will right our wrongs:...

Maoists must not have the gun in their hands but they must have agriculture tools & pens so they can serve: Narendra Modi

Shri. Narendra Modi is addressing four rallies in Jharkhand and Bihar, approaching the people of undivided Bihar and expected to spellbound public with his super oratory power. The followings are the Tweets from Shri. Narendra Modi during Rally at Lohardaga, Jharkhand: _This Election is for the 16th Lok Sabha, in the year in 2014 and for 14 seats of Jharkhand. Lotus must shine on all 14 seats here _This is a land of the brave. This is a land of people who have devoted themselves for others be it 1857 or any other era _Maoists have challenged democracy & told people not to come. But the rally shows how democracy prevails over the gun _From 16th May a new era of India’s development will begin _Mahatma Gandhi gave message of non-violence. But youngsters inspired by Maoism have taken the gun & are spilling blood on streets _Our land needs the colour of progress not the colour of blood. Let these lands become green due to work of farmers _Maoists must not have the gun in their hands but they must have agriculture tools & pens so they can serve others _Raasta Kalam, Hal Aur Pasine ka Hai, Khoon Ka Nahi _So many Congress governments came but they never bothered about Jharkhand. But now that its formed see politics they play _Do not forget Pandit Nehru mocked the idea of creation of Jharkhand. It was Atal ji who gave us Jharkhand _Some leaders sitting in Bihar said Jharkhand will be formed over my dead body. Where are they now _Congress did not bother for Adivasi communities. Till 2000, a new ministry was not made for development of tribal communities _If there is any party that can serve the Adivasi communities it is the BJP. We have made schemes for their development _We have seen Karia Munda ji serve as Deputy Speaker. He is a friend. Talking to him has always been inspiring _This is a very prosperous land. Give the farmers water and see what wonders they can do _Some leaders & parties think natural resources have immense opportunity for corruption. They did not even spare coal _From experience I can say that we can make our nation corruption free. Only promises wont help…Irade Nek Hone Chahiye _We heard all kinds of taxes but there was a Jayanti Tax in Delhi- it was a tax for environment clearances _We introduced reforms in mining sector in Gujarat, introduced technology, we did satellite mapping _GOI awarded us for our efforts & wrote about MAGIC initiative to other state governments also _I appeal to EC- you take affidavits from candidates. Make rules – how many promises by Govts in manifestos were fulfilled After this rally , Shri. Narendra Modi is heading towards Chatra, Jharkhand where he is schedule to speak at around 1.30 PM.
